НАУКОВИЙ ГЕРБАРІЙ УМАНСЬКОГО НАЦІОНАЛЬНОГО УНІВЕРСИТЕТУ САДІВНИЦТВА (UM): СТАНОВЛЕННЯ ТА СЬОГОДЕННЯ

Abstract

The history of the creation and formation of the Herbarium of Uman National University of Horticulture (UM) is presented. Valuable collections and their collectors in the Odessa and Uman periods of the Main School of Horticulture are considered, as well as their formation in Uman School of Agriculture and Horticulture by the first director M.I. Annenkov during the second period after moving to Uman. The contribution of scientists and students of the educational institution in the periods of formation and reorganization are covered. The presence of the collection of exicates Herbarium Florae Rossicae of German botanist L.G. Rabenhorst and herbarium collections of famous botanists V.M. Cherniaeva, M.S. Turchaninova and J.K. Pachosky is specified. Current functioning of the herbarium institution and prospects for the future are described.
