В статті обґрунтовано розвиток в’їзного, внутрішнього туризму та екскурсійної діяльності, що має тенденцію до перетворення у важливий чинник підвищення якості життя в країні, створення
додаткових робочих місць, наповнення бюджету та підвищення авторитету країни як на внутрішньому, так і на міжнародному туристичних ринках. Також досліджено економічну та соціальну
значущість туризму в сучасних умовах. Визначено, що туристичний бізнес сприяє розвитку економіки, розвиваючи такі галузі промисловості як сільське господарство, торгівлю, будівництво, зв'язок, виробництво товарів широкого попиту; сприяє зайнятості населення, зростанню потенційного та реального валового внутрішнього продукту країни, є вагомим джерелом валютних надходжень та засобом забезпечення позитивного сальдо платіжного балансу країни.

The article substantiates the development of inbound, domestic tourism and excursion activities, which tends to transform into an important factor in improving the quality of life in the country, creating additional jobs, filling the budget and increasing the credibility of the country both in the domestic and international tourist markets. The economic and social significance of tourism in modern conditions is also researched. It is determined that the tourism business contributes to the development of the economy, developing such industries as agriculture, trade, construction, communications, and the production of goods of wide demand; contributes to the employment of the population, the growth of the potential and real gross domestic product of the country, is a significant source of foreign exchange earnings and a means to ensure a positive balance of payments of the country.
Among the countries invited to the partnership within the framework of the Visegrad Group, Ukraine occupied one of the main places, with which the
International Visegrad Fund began active cooperation. The purpose of the Fund is to promote cooperation between the V4
countries and non-EU countries in Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans and the South Caucasus through the provision of subsidies for joint cultural, scientific, educational, tourism and cross-border projects as well as through individual mobility programs (scholarships, residences). The Fund's programs have been in place since 2005.
The Fund provides funding for small grants for the following categories: scientific exchanges and research, education, youth exchanges, cultural and
transfrontier co-operation, or promotion of tourism. The financial contribution of the Fund can not exceed 80% of the total cost of the project, and must
necessarily include the contribution of the applicant. The maximum budget of projects is 6000 thousand euros.
