Історичний дендрологічний гербарій Уманського національного університету садівництва та його використання у навчально-науковому процесі

Abstract

Стаття присвячена історичному дендрологічному гербарію, який зберігається у фондах Наукового гербарію Уманського НУС (UM). Гербарні зразки дендрофлори було зібрано учнями училища (нині – Уманський національний університет садівництва) під час вивчення дисциплін «Ботаніка», «Декоративна дендрологія», «Лісівництво», а також під час проходження навчальних практик на базі Нікітського ботанічного саду (Крим) та Царициного саду (дендропарк «Софіївка»), що відмічено на етикетках або ж безпосередньо на гербарних аркушах. Найбільшою кількістю гербарних зразків у колекції представлено такі родини: Aceraceae, Caprifoliaceae, Fabaceae, Fagaceae, Rosaceae, Tiliaceae, Salicaceae та ін., які налічують різні роди, види та їх форми – ‘Atropurpurea’, ‘Aurea’, ‘Aureo-marginata’, ‘Grandiflora’, ‘Pendula’, ‘Plena’, ‘Variegata’. Дендрологічний гербарій Уманського національного університету садівництва слугує навчально-науковою базою для підготовки фахівців зі спеціальностей – 205 «Лісове господарство», 206 «Садово-паркове господарство» у вивченні різноманітності видового складу декоративних кущів та лісових порід. The article shows the use of the historical dendrological herbarium which is in the funds of Scientific Herbarium of Uman NUH (UM). Herbarium collections of plants of deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs are given. Herbarium specimens of the dendroflora were collected by students of Uman College of Agriculture and Horticulture (successor is Uman National University of Horticulture) during studying such disciplines as “Botany”, “Decorative Dendrology”, “Arboriculture”, as well as during training on the basis of Nikitsky Botanical Garden (Crimea) and Tsaritsyn Garden (Sofiyivka Arboretum) which is marked on labels or directly on the herbarium sheets. The following families have the largest number of herbarium specimens in the collection: Aceraceae, Caprifoliaceae, Fabaceae, Fagaceae, Rosaceae, Tiliaceae, Salicaceae and others which have different genera, species and their forms – ‘Atropurpurea’, ‘Aurea’, ‘Aureo-marginata’, ‘Grandiflora’, ‘Pendula’, ‘Plena’, ‘Variegata’. Funds of the dendrological herbarium are available for students, postgraduate students, teachers of educational institutions and academics from other institutions. Preparing specialists in 205 “Forestry” and 206 “Landscape Gardening” specialties, herbarium specimens are used as a visual material in the study of the diversity of species composition of ornamental bushes and forest species. According to the curriculum, students of Uman National University of Horticulture continue to study the dendroflora with their subsequent herbarization. Conclusions are made regarding the formation of herbarium dendrological collections that are relevant and necessary for the study of introduced species of plants in the temperate zone.
