The essence, importance, advantages and disadvantages of the operation of credit unions in Ukraine are
presented. Proved that the problem of affordable lending of agricultural producers can be successfully solved with the help credit cooperative. The basic directions of improvement of further development of cooperation of credit unions with agricultural producers.
