МатеріалEstimation of landscaping of types and forms of the genus Ulmus L. and the usage in decoration in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine(Episteme czasopismo naukowo-kulturalne. Krakow., 2016) Масловата, Світлана АндріївнаThe current state of plantations involving plants of Ulmus L. in Uman is analyzed; taxonomic composition of species and their cultivars is defined. Characteristic of decorative features of species diversity of Ulmus genus growing in terms of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine is showed. Dynamics of decorativeness during the year and comprehensive decorativeness of plants to wider use in landscaping are determined. It is found that conditions of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine contribute decorativeness of species and cultivars of Ulmus genus which confirms the high overall annual indicator. The highest decorativeness of representatives throughout the year is indicated from April to October. All studied species and forms of Ulmus cultivated on the territory of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine may be widely used in various types of plantations.

Planch. ex Miq., Actinidia purpurea Rehd., Actinidia polygama (Siebold et Zucc.), Actinidia chinensis Planch. take a special place among the unconventional promising introduced plants because they are interesting not only for their biology, ecology, geography and history, but also for their great practical value. They are gaining great popularity due to their unpretentiousness to growing conditions, fast fertility, annual fruiting, high vitamin value of fruits, leaves and shoots.
