МатеріалThe characteristic of wheat collection created by Triticum aestivum L./Triticum spelta L. hybridization(Agronomy research, 2018) Діордієва, Ірина Павлівна ; Рябовол, Ярослав Сергійович ; Рябовол, Людмила Олегівна ; Сержук, Олександр Петрович ; Новак, Андрій Васильович ; Коцюба, Світлана ПетрівнаThe aim of our research was to create, analyzes, and systematise wheat collection samples for the selection of valuable initial forms, to involve them in breeding process, and to create new productive cultivars. For this purpose the hybridisation of soft and spelt wheat was carried out, along with an evaluation of the hybrids that were obtained, between 2006 and 2018 (F5 F10). A collection of wheat samples, containing more than a thousand numbered items, was formed from the obtained diversity of samples. The economically-valuable and morphological characteristics of newly-developed materials were analysed. According to the results of our research, we selected forms of spelt, soft wheat, and speltoid samples which have high levels of productivity and high gluten and protein contents in grains. Spelt wheat sample 1817 contains 45.2% gluten, 22.3% protein, and has a yield capacity of 6.55 t ha-1. Soft wheat sample 1689 has 32.4% gluten, 15.8% protein, and a yield capacity of 7.19 t ha-1. These samples were submitted for state scientific and technical expert evaluation in 2018. The created varieties of European spelt wheat and Artemisia soft wheat were included in The varieties, Artaniia and Artaplot, were submitted for state scientific and technical expert evaluation.

МатеріалTriticale breeding improvement with the use of spelt wheat (Triticum spelta L.)(WFL Publisher, 2018-01) Riabovol, Liudmila ; Diordiieva, Iryna ; Riabovol, Yaroslav ; Polyanetska, Iryna ; Lubchenko, Andrii ; Novak, ZhannaThe aim of the research was to show the possibility of triticale breeding improvement with the use of spelt wheat and to evaluate created forms for the main agronomic traits. Implementation of this goal was done by crossing of threespecies triticale and spelt wheat and stabilization of obtained hybrid forms. The created diversity of triticale forms was divided into three groups according to plants height: medium-stem (plant height 100–120 cm), low-stem (plant height 80–100 cm) and short-stem (height of plants 60–80 cm). Four best samples in each plants group were selected and tested more detail. The standard for a medium-stem group samples was variety of winter triticale Khlibodar Kharkivskii. For short-stem and low-stem group samples the standard was variety of winter triticale Alkid. The evaluation of samples productivity in the experiment was studied by placement the test variants in latin square. As a result of the research the possibility of triticale breeding improvement with the use of spelt wheat and stabilization of obtained offspring was shown. Developed general technological scheme of triticale breeding improvement. Medium-stem sample 455 (protein content 13.9 %, gluten 30.2 %) and short-stem sample 471 (protein content 13.6 %, gluten 29.5 %) were selected. Lowstem sample 484 which combines high grain yield (7.1 t ha-1) with high protein (12.4%) and gluten (26.9%) content and dwarf sample 473, which has complex resistance to diseases and characterized by high grain yields, protein and gluten content were selected. Varieties Navarro and Strateg, were selected and transferred to the State Scientific and Technical Expertise (applications № 15022003 and №15022004).
